Good performances of Narahito Watanabe in Unna

At Saturday October 28th 2000, the All Style Open European Championship took place in Unna, Germany. There were many contestants (approximately 1250), because this Grand Prix was recognised by all the big international federations – WAKO, WKA, IKKA, et al. – and because it was very well promoted. Unfortunately, this interest was a bit too much for the organisation. Contestants had to wait three hours, before they were able to enlist and some of the contestants missed their competition, because it wasn’t clear where they had to be at what time. Contestants came among others from The United States (Jean Paul Mitchell Team), Poland, Austria, Great Britain, Russia, Belgium and The Netherlands.

Narahito Watanabe came out for Wushu – sportschool Bao Trieu / Blijd and participated in three categories. He managed to win a price in all his categories.

1st price in Forms Softstyle men +16 Black Belt
2nd price in Armed Forms Softstyle men +16 Black Belt
3rd price in Freestyle Forms men +16 Black Belt

Fouad ZaaZouz scored a 4th place in both his categories and with these results he just missed the prices.

Aissa Allaui and Hafid Koubaa participated in the category show with two of their prepared fights, but because of the high quality of the contestants they also failed to win a price.
