Choy Li Fut Grandmaster Doc-Fai Wong was invited to England and Holland for seminars from March 27th to April 4th,1999.
March 27th, Wong did a Double Broadswords workshop in London with local kung fu instructors Brian Huffman, a representative instructor of the Doc-Fai Wong Martial Arts Center in London along Mark Horton chief instructor of the Hong Ying Kung Fu Schools of UK and Holland.
March 28th, Leo Alderman of Hong Ying Kung Fu Schools sponsored a Chin-Na Seminar in Canterbury. Besides the students of the local school, Richard Papworth brought 17 students traveling four hours from Norwich to Canterbury to support the seminar.
April 2nd, Doc-Fai Wong and his assistant Brian Huffman did a Choy Li Fut fighting techniques workshop in Rotterdam Holland in the Kam Lung Kung Fu School for students of John vanderSpek and Mary Cheung.
April 3rd, Grandmaster Wong went to Groningen of Holland to do an instructor workshop for the Choy Li Fut's Fei Lung Sien (Flying Dragon Fan) for the instructors in the Bao Trieu Kung Fu/ Wushu School. The chief instructor of that school are Earl Blijd and his brother Carl Blijd. Besides the staff instructors of this school, English and Dutch instructors Mark Horton, Han Do Hong and Brian Huffman were also in the workshop. After the workshop, Earl Blijd and his students performed a lion dancing and wushu exhibition for Doc-Fai Wong.
April 4th, the Chin-Na seminar in Amsterdam Holland was attended by the students of Mark Horton of Hong Ying School, Henny Eleonora of the Bak Sing/Luk Hop Moon School, Ruud Perreijn and Tal Wikins of the Wing Chun / Kun Tao School. At the end of the the seminar the Bak Sing/Luk Hop Moon School did a lion dance in honor of Grandmaster Doc-Fa Wong.
